Doing the Happy Dance!!!

Sorry for the no post yesterday. I was having trouble getting my pics to load. But got it today.

As my DH made dinner on Saturday I put the finishing touches on my Holiday patches:

I have to say I enjoyed the piece and look forward to getting it framed and enjoying at Christmas time. So what is a girl to do after a Happy Dance? Start a new or finish a WIP???

Well I decided to be good and work on a WIP:

Official Crazy Cat Lady!! I think another Happy Dance is in the near future......

And a new pic of the reason I am an Official Crazy Cat Lady:

Ms. Kandi Rose she is sure growing.. After all those weeks of her not wanting to be picked up she now wants to be carried around and boy is she a lover. I am so happy that I rescued her.

Until next time

May you be blessed with stitches,

Karol

Is it really Spring???

Well I tried again and was able to get my pictures uploaded!!!. This is my official crazy cat lady:

I worked on it as we drove to WV last week and then yesterday. Yesterday I helped to faciliatate a workshop for Stitch for Autism canvas piece at our EGA. Lots of fun!
Here is my holiday patches:

I am really enjoying this piece. Love the colors! Of course Christmas colors are always nice. Hope to get it finished in the near future!

Well I do believe that spring has come upon us! I could use with a little less rain but it is better then what others have been facing across the country. My prayers go out to all those afffected. I had tried to load some pictures of my stitching but no cooperation for some reason:(!!
I have been continuing on with my holdiday patches and my crazy cat lady. Nothing compelte yet.
Until next time

Spring is in the air!!!

I do believe that spring is in the air although cool and rainy. Maybe April showers will bring May flowers. The grass is getting greener and there are things popping up all over. I had to go to Atlanta this week and it was so nice to see green trees and flowers as I walked through the Olympic part. I was very busy at the Microsoft Convergence so no time for stitching at all:(! But learned alot and had fun. Will I was sitting in the airport and flying I did get started on Official Crazy Cat Lady: We will be traveling to West Virginia this week to spend the Easter Weekend with our DS. So I will be taking this project along. Its a long car ride so hope to show more progress next week. Since I have been home I have continued on my Holiday Patches:
I am so enjoying this! It was hard to put it down tonight. But I know I have to get up for work tomorrow.

Well I hope you all have a little sunshine and stitches this week!

Until next time

May you be blessed with stitches,

Just Stitching Along

Well I missed posting last Sunday. This has been a busy week... Plans every evening but I have gotten some stitching in the past two weeks! I got up to date and this month's done for my Sue Reed piece: I am really enjoying this piece and the colors. Looking forward to taking a class from Sue next month at ANG also:)! Since I had that caught up I though I would get out my holiday patches: Got the fabric down and began working on the padded boarders. Then I get to do the fun stuff!! Tomorrow I am off to Atlanta for a conference for work. Decided I would take a cross stitch piece with me. A little easier and smaller. I do hope that I have a little time to stitch. The schedule is looks pretty busy though. I thought I would share a picture of Kandi Rose:
This was taken when she was actually on the computer desk but not on the keyboard of the laptop. A rare occurence.

I hope were ever you are that you are getting a little spring weather.

Until next time

May you be blessed with stitches,

Karol
