Doing another Happy Dance!!!1

At my last EGA meeting one of our members taught a canvas piece of her own design:
It was aa wonderful mixture of different stitches and textures. The nice thing is that it fits in a box top. Now to find one. Went to my ANG meeting yesterday. Now I have another project to do Northern Pines Earth Spirit. (Sorry forgot to get the picture). It is not a real big design so I think I will be taking it with me next month when I have some traveling to do. Tomorrow I think I will get back to my Sue Reed ANG Stitch of the month(2010)piece and get caught up with the rest of my group.

Well Spring is just teasing us lots of sunshine but cool.

Until next time

May you be blessed with stitches,

Karol

Doing the Happy Dance....

Yes!!! Idid it! I finished Garden Walk:

This is an ANG Correspondence course. And it was a challenge for me. My intent with the colors was to make it look like a fall garden. I think I accomplished it. There were many times that I thought I might throw in the towel on this one but I did perserve and I am happy that I did.
Now what should I work on...not like I don't have anything to choose from. I guess I will think about it during the day tomorrow and get the needle back moving again tomorrow evening.
Well I know it is supposed to be Spring but I am not sure I actually saw snow in the forcast I guess time will tell. I personal could use a day with some window opening and fresh air in the house how about you?
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

I am watching you

I do believe that spring is trying to make an apperance. I actually heard birds this morning. I think that Kandi Rose has discovered the outside also. She has been watching out the sliding glass door behind the couch I usually sit on or she sits on top of it and looks out and basks in the limited sun that we have had. I do believe that she has recovered from her surgery. She has been zooming around more each day.

'
Of course today I went to a cat show and came home with some new toys. Lots of lovely kitties t see.
On the stitching front I have been continuing on with my correspondence course. I really want to get it done by a week from this Friday. I think I can I think I can....

I have a little bit more to do on the left side bar. Then the bottom bar. I also have to stitch up a few butterflies that will complete the section 2nd from the bottom. Then some beadweaving in the second section from the top. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I do hope that you are beginning to see signs of spring in your area.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Who Hoo Doing another Happy Dance!!!

As hoped I was able to finish up Emerald monday evening:

It was fun to stitch I think it would be a great little ornament.

I have continued on in my ANG correspondence course:

Kinda of seeing a little light at the end of the tunnel. I have 3 complete sections to finish and 2 partial really hoping to get done by the end of March. I think I can I think I can.
My stitching, and sewing room is starting to come together. The DH has finished up the trim around the floor curtians ready to be hung. Today we went looking for a chair to sit in there. Still need to look some more. Then I have the massive task of organizing my stash to go in. I figured it is going in organized because I am afraid that if I just put in there I will never get to it.
Kandi Rose is doing well. We had her spayed on Friday so it was pretty quiet around her that evening no zooming kitty. She has been pretty quiet since she got home. I am not sure how I am supposed to keep her that way for two weeks though. She all ready brought us her mouse for a little game of fetch with we didn't indulge her in. Kandi Rose did get a new scratching post since she was a good little patient (we just won't talk about getting her in the carrier). She has taken right to the post. The DH is convinced she needs a taller one so I think we will have a couple around the house. Yes she is well loved.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol
