Another Happy Dance

I had another finish on Friday:

This is Marilyn's Garden by Deebee Designs. It was our class last week at Chicago ANG. Done on canvas with rayon overdyed. It was fun to stitch! With lots of different stitches. Other than this I have been working on my nametag for the group hopefully I can finish that up this week. I hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,

Thanks to the lovely ladies at House of Stitches I received my thread today and I sat down and finished this up:

I do believe Rose Quartz will become a little pillow. It was a fun stitch. I am still working away on my nametag. Hope you all are having a stitchy week!

Arghhh!!

Well I had hoped to post another Happy Dance last night but...... I got down to about 20 minutes of stitching and ran out of thread:(!. I only needed about one more strand. So an email will be going into the House of Stitches to see if I can get some snail mailed to me so I can get it finished up. But don't despair I had something else to stitch:)! I started my nametag for the Chicago ANG don't think I will have it done by Saturday but by the next meeting for sure.
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

A Stitchy Update

I wanted to share what I have been up to:

This is my progress on Rose Quartz. It seems to be coming along quite nicely and I am looking forward to my second finish for 2010. Which reminds me if you are interested in the pattern from my first finish please don't forget to post a comment to the previous post.
We have had a far share of snow these past few days. I do like the snow but driving through it can some times be a bit nerve raking. I guess that is the pleasure I have living so close to the lake and getting the lake effect. Hope everyone else is surving the winter weather. It does give time to stitching though.
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

First Happy Dance for 2010!!!

I have my first finish for 2010!!!!! Time for God by Lizzie Kate:

I really enjoyed this design. I think that I will finish it up as a flat fold and take it and put it in my office. Sometimes I need to have a little reminder about God when things get to me at work. In honor of my first finish of 2010 I will be giving this pattern away. So leave a comment by January 15th if your interested.
I had planned to start the baby sampler today. But I didn't have rods long enough for my scroll rod. So I will have to take another trip to House of Stitches to get some.
So instead of starting a gift I started something else I had in my statsh:

I got a far amount done on the middle section so stay tuned for an update later in the week. I hope that you all are enjoying 2010 so far. We have watched a lot of football at our house but also made some progress on what will become my stitching room!
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol
