A Great Stitchy Weekend!!

I spent this weekend in the most lovely way. Both days where spent with some of my stitching sisters and I had an awsome time!!
On Saturday Lelia, Beth and I crossed over to Illinois and visited 3 shops!!
1. Inspired Needle
2. Tommorows Heirlooms
3. Village Needleworks
Here are some of my purchases:

I had a great time visiting, laughing and sharing our favorite past time stitching!
Today Sue from my guild invited a bunch over to stitch. I had a lovely time! Visiting, laughing and stitching!
Some of us have joined the Chicago ANG and I am looking forward to spending time with them and stitching!.
I worked on the terrier today at the stitching. I took this picture of her before I left and while there I did get a few more stitches in.

I have also been working on the final exchange piece I need to have done before December. May be I will get this terrier done before the 25th of December.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Lots to Share!!!

Well I have so much to share with you all. My pictures didn't get uploaded in the way I wanted so hopefully it is not to out of sorts.

First look what I won from the Online Needlework Show:

They are little mats to stitch up and finish and then you can set a votive candle on them. I did a quick peek at the instructions and they are great!! I am really going to have to check out some more of her designs.
Then I received my PIF from Averyclaire:

Isn't it beautiful!!! I am pretty lucky and I do love the colors!!!

On October 17th my EGA chapter hosted the Indiana State Day. It went so well everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.
Everyone went home with a beautiful basket. This is the one I came home with:

It was full of garden themed patterns and floss and all kind of goodies!!!!
This was our kit bag:

I am sure I did not get everything in the picture!!! In addition to our project it was chock full of other frebbies!!
This is the project designed by one of our members:

We worked on a smaller piece to go into the tin box. Then after you mastered that you have the materials to make the amulet bag. It was a great day!!!
I am still working away on the terrier. I did finish one page today!!!
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Yes progress is being made!! The brown puppy now has his eyes and nose:

This one sure has a lot more color changes going on. So sometimes I don't feel like I am making much progress. But I guess I am.
We have been having some fall weather the trees are really pretty to me. Hope you all are having wonderful weather.
Until next time,

What I have been up to

I have been a bad bad blogger lately. It seems like I have spent most of my free time stitching on the brown boston terrier.
Here is the proof:

So I am making progress. I sure hope to get this done by Christmas. I also have two other small things that need to get done by the first part of December. Can't cross my fingers cause then I can't stitch. This past weekend we got to puppy sit for the two little terriors and they where fun!!
I hope you all are enjoying this fall weather! Personally I love the cooler weather.
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Another Happy Dance!!!!

I think this is one of the fastest things that I have finished:

Of course on Saturday from about 10 am on all I did was stitch and watch movies for the most part. But it was worth it. Now I feel a little more motavated to go back to stitching brown!!
I think I will finish this into a little wall hanging for the family room. The colors go great with the rest of the decor and maybe it will add a little femine touch to the hunting theme!
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

A Change of Pace

I have been stitching along on the Brown boston Terrier. Doesn't look like much yet but I have been:

Today at work I decided I needed a little change of pace. Something quick and easy. So when I got home I got going on my Olde World Roses canvas piece. I had picked up the rest of the fibers on Saturday and here is how far I got:

This is not a very big piece so I thought it would be quick and easy!!
Until next time,

A Statsh Shopping we will Go!!!1

Yesterday Lelia and I went on a little statsh shopping adventure.
I picked up Rose Quartz the canvas and most of the fiber. I guess another trip is in order because I had to order some more.

I also picked up some fibers that where ordered from my previous trip:

Also when I was at Needle Nest I picked up some other things but no show because they are surprizes.

After Needle Nest we went over to Erica's and I picke up a couple of fall kits:(sorry for the poor quality)

And some more fat quarters. I just can't resist these.:)

After that we had a nice lunch at Hacenenda. What more can you ask for great statsh, good food and awseome company and conversation. Can't wait till my fibers come in and we can do it all again!!
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
