Just a rolling along....

Well the stitcher bars got to do some rolling this past Friday

The second deer is quite majastic standing there looking out into the forest. After I did the rolling this is were I got to yesterday and today:

I am hoping that I don't have to roll the frames again. I have to get back to the right side and then there new pages with about 250 rows back across the bottom. I am getting more hopefully that it will be complete by Christmas. I will be home for 6 weeks after Wednesday so I am hoping to have some more stitching time. That is after I am able to after surgery Friday. So if my posts are a little sparatic stick with me I'll be back.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,

Still Stitching Along

I am still stitching along on the deer project. The second deer made quit an apparence this week:

The rest of this section is quite alot of solid color blocks so hoping it goes quickly. Not so many color changes :)! Oh I am sure itching to stitch something new! I have so many things in my to do pile but I keep at this. I am hoping that next year it can be about me for stitching next year. No big gift projects but we will see. I am still thinking I will get this done by Christmas.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,

Just stitching Along

Despite having a busy week(ladies guild at church, EGA , and a wonderful evening with friends) I think I was able to get a lot accomplished this past week:

What do you think? It always amazes me what it looks like when I step back from the piece. When I am working on it just seems like x's of colors but when you step away the picture is there. This week I will be at home after work each evening so hoping even more gets accomplished. Yesterday I was able to run to House of Stitches with my friend Beth and then out to lunch. We had a blast!! In addition to picking up a couple of things to make ornaments I also picked up to the first part of Bent Creeks' new series Christmas mantel. It is so cute sorry forgot to get a picture. I am looking forward to stitching it. Of course nothing is getting started till this piece is finished!
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
