Rolling Along

The time came yesterday to move the old scroll rods!! A victory in and of itself with a large project.
Here is the whole top half before I moved the rods last night:


So I am back over on the left hand side and her is a pic to where I got to today:


This path across is only about three rows and then it is off to the next set of pages.
I hope you all are having a great week. Me I am hoping for a cooling trend. It was quite pleasant today hopefully it will continue.

A Stitchy Update

I continue to make progress on my big project. It is getting so wide that it is hard to get it all in sorry about that. I hope to make some speedy progress because there is a lot of blocks of color instead of lots of color change in the section I am working on.

Yesterday some girlfriends and I headed over to a quilt show. We had lots of fun, saw some beautiful pieces, eat some great food and all got hooked on a new craft. Yes we all picked up locker hooking projects. It looks like fun. I did no get going on mine yet but stay tuned.

I hope you all had a lovely week I am awaiting the cooler temps! We actually have some leaves that feel off our tree. I don't think it has anything to do with fall probably the hot weather.

Slow and Steady

Well I am still at it with this big piece:

I gues my blog post are not to exciting when this all I am working on but I am making progress. I am getting to a point where there is some solid stitching of colors. Less color changes I think will make more progress. At least that is what I am telling myself. It looks like the heat and humidity have returned to my neck of the woods! Yuck! But since the first football game was on this evening I keep telling myself that fall will be upon us shortly. Now that is something to look forward to.

Plugging Along

As you can see I have been plugging along on my latest project:


I know that I have a long way to go but each stitch gets me one stitch closer I keep telling myself. I had hoped to get more done this weekend but. Today I went and did some shopping with my DD, DN and DSM. It was a lot of fun! Boy I wish I had a Trader Joes closer just love that store. It was my first time and I hope to get back!
It looks like we are in for some more hot and sticky weather this week! BLAH!! I was happy when the weather guy said in a month it will be September 1st looking forward to some coolness.
I hope each of you have been able to spend some time with your needle I know it is good for my soul.
