Snowy Sunday Update

Yes we had a snowy Sunday. Most has melted away but it was pretty messy while it was snowing. It seems hard to believe that it is almost April!!
Here is a picture of my lates finish:

It is a little bib for our newest niece to wear for her baptism. Sorry the quality of the picture is not to good. Hard to take a picture of something all white. On the back I stitched the little ones name, baptism date, godfather and godmother names. Our dd will be her godmother our ds is her brother's godfather. Tonight I started a birth sampler for her!

Thanks for all the comments on my HAED finish it is off at the framers. Looking forward to seeing it. Well not sure when I will post again we are off to FL on friday for a little over a week my Grandmother turns 90 so we are off to help her celebrate.

Major Happy Dance!!!!!

I did it!!! I finished my first HAED design!!!!!

I started this piece back in November 2007 I have done other things along the way as you have seen. I stitched this piece for my DS who like wolfs. It was a fun piece I do think that next time I will only use one strand of floss though. It will be off to the House of Stitches for framing this weekend. I think a simple black frame. Tonight I started a baptism bib for our new niece then I will be starting a birth sampler for her.

Sunny Sunday Update

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. Been a bit under the weather. Hopefully it is gone for now. I hope you all are having as nice as weather as we are! What a beautiful sunny day.

I really enjoyed these cute fun piece. I am thinking of finishing it as a flat fold. Since I finished that I have been concentrating on my HAED wolf. I think another finish is in the way!!! After that I will have to be working on a baptism bib and a birth sampler. We have a new niece!! What a doll!! Since I made her big brother a bib and sampler I thought I need to do the same for her. My son is her brother's godfather and my daughter will be her godmother. I wanted to share what my ILCS Secret Stitching Sister sent to me the other day. A cute little kitty pattern:

I have never done a TW design but I think this is a must do!! It is a beautiful design.

Stitchy Update

I have been stitching on my Boston Terrier piece:


This is two pages down and two more to go! Then the brown one. Yesterday I got to see my two little bt grandpuppies they sure have a lot of energy!

Today will be a lazy sunday. Laundry, cooking and stitching. I am going to stitch up a Lizzie Kate "Good things happen to those who stitch", hoping for a fast quick stitch.
