Stitching Update

I finally have page one done for my BT pic that I am doing for my DD and her DBF. There are so many color changes. There are 3 more pages for this one. It does look like there will be a little more solid color stitching on those pages. Then it will be on to the brown one.

This is a picture of the wonderful fob and counting pins that I won on Tina blog Stitching in Texas. They are great and I can not wait to use them. Tina even included some M&Ms (yummy!) Thanks Tina!!

I wanted sto share my inner child doll that I made yesterday at LaBeada Loca in Valparaiso, IN. The class was taught by Pat Winters. Pat is great crazy quilter and her teaching was great. She kept reminding us to PLAY!! What a wonderful thing! Pat has been running a comfort doll project where people send in dolls and the dolls are distributed to womens shelters across the country. What a wonderful ministry! I will be making some for sure!

I think that I am off to do some stitching on our IN State day project for my chapter of EGA. Maybe I will get the HAED project out also today.
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Your dog project is moving quickly. And what a great fob! Don't you just love stitchie gifts???

Your doll is finished!!! Bravo : ) It looks great. I took mine apart this a.m. I wanted to add more stuff & roll it tighter to avoid lavender buds spilling out.

I had a terrible time with blogger - I think because my post was too long. Did you see our photo? Pat had a great post about the class and stuff.

OK, now I'm getting lost in my kitchen cabinets -- I HAVE to get new shelf liners in.

Karol, your Inner Child doll is delightful! It was funny, when I viewed her I actually smelled Lavender...strange. Great job, and thanks for sharing your WIP amulet with us. I want to see it when finished.

Your projects are lovely! You have done some beautiful stitching. Thank you for entering my tatting giveaway for OWOH! Good luck to you! I used to belong to an EGA chapter!!! They invited me as an honorary member because I tat and they'd never met a tatter and wanted me to join! It was nice! I've moved from there, but I really enjoyed the times I went. Because of them I found a lace guild in my local area and I go to Lace Guild meetings each month.

I love the cute little shape ~ almost like something magical like a unicorn!
How lucky you get to be inspired by Pat live in person!!!
