Recovery Stitching

I am two weeks post op and have been doing some stitching during my recovery.
I finished across in this area:

Started the last pass across:

This is how much I have to go:

Once I get all the way across the Happy Dance can start!! I do think it will be completed and framed for Christmas!
I am so thankful that my surgery went well. I still have to remember that I am healing though. I drove for the first time today and boy that was tiring. I have been so surprised by the wonderful cards that I have received from my stitching and church families. I hope you all are getting plenty of time to stitch.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol
PS I apologize for taking so long to post. I had intended to post last week but crashed into bed very early :(!

Your stitching is gorgeous! I do think you will have it done soon.

Take very good care of yourself!

I'm glad to read that you're feeling well enough to stitch! Isn't it exciting when the end is in sight?

Glad to hear that your surgery went well and that your recovery is too. Lovely stitching progress!

I have a question: I notice you leave threads hanging on the front of your work (very beautiful work I might add). Just wondering about that. I'm a self-taught cross stitcher and I've never seen this before. How do you keep track of which thread is which?
