First Happy Dance for 2010!!!

I have my first finish for 2010!!!!! Time for God by Lizzie Kate:

I really enjoyed this design. I think that I will finish it up as a flat fold and take it and put it in my office. Sometimes I need to have a little reminder about God when things get to me at work. In honor of my first finish of 2010 I will be giving this pattern away. So leave a comment by January 15th if your interested.
I had planned to start the baby sampler today. But I didn't have rods long enough for my scroll rod. So I will have to take another trip to House of Stitches to get some.
So instead of starting a gift I started something else I had in my statsh:

I got a far amount done on the middle section so stay tuned for an update later in the week. I hope that you all are enjoying 2010 so far. We have watched a lot of football at our house but also made some progress on what will become my stitching room!
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Karol, this is a design I need to stitch, just to remember who is in control of my life. I keep giving my problems over to God and then snatching them back because He's not working fast enough. I don't think I've ever seen that design before. And your piece sure is lovely. Did it take you long to stitch up? And would you mind if I put a link to your blog on my blog?
hugs

Congratulations, Karol! That looks like a fun stitch, and you've done your usual lovely job. How exciting, too, that you get to have a craft room!!
