Crazy Quilted Needlebook

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of taking a class from Pat Winter(http://gatherings100.blogspot.com) I really wish I knew how to add links right to the name. If you have never checked out her work please do. Pat is a very gracious teacher. She kept saying to take more goodies and trims and such. I have to tell you her studio room is just beautiful since I am hoping to have one soon I just kept looking around at how she had it set up. She also has a lovely home. Even though I had a bit of a cold I could hardly believe that we where there from 9-4 time just flew it was so much fun creating!!
Pat taught Lelia and I how to make needlebook and today I finished mine up:

I had a littl mishap with my finishing when I did not layer it in the right order:(! but otherwise I think it turned out pretty good.
I think I have another hobby to add to my life I am hooked!!
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Karol, it is just beautiful!!! Happy belated birthday. I hope it was a wonderful day for you. How exciting to be getting a new studio. You will have a blast! It was really fun having you and Lelia over. The time did pass so quickly. You must come and play next time. There is a lot more to try, and no need to buy supplies.
Smiles,
Pat

Karol: Your book is fabulous!!! I love your embellishing! Job well done. I don't know what layering mistake you made - but I think it looks stunning.

I haven't picked mine up since our class.

I will get mine finished, tho. I just loved learning the stitches and using ribbons and fancy fibers. What a load of fun.

Pat is indeed a generous person - her studio is fantastic. Eye candy everyplace you look!!! Inspiration surrounds her table & you cannot help getting hooked.

In addition to the CQ, was the VersaCraft ink pad & what a delight that was. Transform a simple trim into a colorful rainbow. I hafta get one of those!!! I think I could do that all day long.

How lovely! Who cares if it's out of order, that just personalizes it for you. It's still wonderfully crafty and clever. Nice job!
