Trip to House of Stitches

Today I had to run over to my LNS House of Stitches to pick up the patterns for our next EGA meeting class. Thank you for ordering it for us. Of course I did not go without making some purchases of my own. First this lovely sissor braclet (it was on sale) with pinky colored beads and charms with a stitching theme. It is on a pair of scissors all ready:

Then the "Our Love" pattern by Annie Beez Folk art the fabric and some of the silks the rest are on order:

Then the Four Seasons Zipper project. Something quick and fun:

After that I had to run to Hobby Lobby real quick and I found this:

I have been wanting to Learn to Tat and I found this book with a DVD. So picked up some supplies and I am hoping to finally learn this craft.
I love lacey things!
I have been stitching away on the birth sampler made some good progress today. Hoping to do the same during the rest of the weekend.
To all who have served and all those who have sent there sons & daughters to serve blessings on this Memorial Day!
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

I'm sorry I missed you. Holly and I were there yesterday just before lunch. I was at the counter, and Linda mentioned your name to Nancy (they were talking about the beaded fobs at the counter), and I asked if you had been there...

Awesome haul from HOS! I have a tatting book (w/DVD), too -- but, never tried it.

I found some on-line stuff - just couldn't get the hang of it.

I heard Linda at HOS knows how to tat & maybe one of these days, she can show me.

later alligator!

Hi Karol..
Good luck with your tatting. I have wanted to learn that for ages . I just learned to needle tat and that I am enjoying, However I do have my shuttle all ready to go so hope to learn that too, Thought it would be a nice thing to use on my crazy patchm quilting.
