Boston Update

I have been stitching on the boston again this week:

I am on the last page! I am really hoping that when it comes back in the rotation I can get it finished. I am thinking I might just have to focus on these if I want to get them done for Christmas though!
I do plan on working on some exchange pieces this week so I can get them out of the way.
It looks like we are going to have another hot and humid weekend!YUCK! I guess it is a good thing that I do not have anything really planned maybe just some ac and stitching.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

And a second!!

And a third.
I was pleased with the comments and besides the ribbions I came away with a little statsh money!! I have saved the list of catagories for entries so I can plan on more entries for next year.

This week I have been stitching on the boston:

I am thinking that tomorrow night I will be on the last page! I am going to put this in my rotation for two weeks in hopes to get it and the brown one done by Christmas.

I think that is all for now.
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Sorry the picture seems a little blurry. Progress slow but sure. Last week I worked on some exchanges. This week I will be working on the boston.
We have been having some pretty nice weather and it looks like it may continue. I hope the dog days of summer stay in the dog house!!
Stay tuned for my fair results! I was pleased I pick up on Sunday.

Waving Hi on a beautiful Sunday

I don't know about the rest of you but we have had some absolutely beautiful weather this weekend!! I am not one for heat and humidty and this weekend has been in the 70's and wonderful!!
I had one thing on my agenda besides the laundry around the house and that was to clean out the hall closet. Fourtanetly it went really quickly yesterday. The piles for the garbage and amvets where definately bigger than the pile to keep. I then took a quick trip to the little european market we have in town some lovely things and the food smells where delightful!
When I got home this was in my mailbox:

I just love this mag!! I was even more happy that this issue featured Mary Englebright one of my favorite artist. I just love some of her sentiments.

Today I took a couple things to the fair and on my way home I picked this up:

Well my portion of dinner is done ( a new receipe for mac & cheese, I just love mac & cheese) and a glass of tea is waiting. So I am off to look through pieceworks and then to stitch on my exchange piece.
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

this week I will be working on some items for exchanges so no pics this week.
Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

In the scheme of things it does not look like much. But what's the old saying slow and stead wins the race. So far it has been fun to stitch and I am looking forward to it's next turn in the rotation. Tomorrow it is back to the boston terrier.
I hope you all are have a great stitchy week!!!

A frame job and some Stash

Today I ran over to House of Stitches to pick up the birth sampler:

Thanks for the great job ladies and the suggestion on the frame. It turned out perfect!!!!

Of course I could not resist a little stash shopping!
House of Stitches was having a Workbasket trunk show and I picked up this:

I changed the colors my floss is the antique rose(I think that is the name) and the linen has sort of a greenish tint. I can't help it I am hooked on these colors.
I also picked up this cute little kit complete with linen and thread:

Also this mag:

It has a Nora Corbett Sunflower fairy that really caught my eye!

To all my US stitching sisters and brothers May you have a Blessed, Safe and Happy 4th!!
For those of you who have served our country or have family members that do BLESSINGS and THANKS!!!!

Until next time,
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol
