More Stitching Going On

Well I am still going strong on the deer picture:

Yes a deer is finally making his way into the picture. I am also fast approching the half way point. Maybe it will be done for Christmas. Yesterday was the meeting for ANG lots of fun and more projects added to my to do pile.
I hope you all are having a good weekend and that your needles are flying.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Stitching Along

Welll, I had to do some rolling on the scroll rods yesterday evening:

As you can see both of the deer have made their appearance.
This is what I was able to get done today:

I still am hopeful that I can get this done by Christmas. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
Today I also got prepared for my ANG meeting next week. Two great classes I know that I won't want to put either away but I will so that I continue with the deer piece.
We have had such lovely weather even the rain yesterday. At least I had my errands done before it started and it was nice to just sit and stitch. Hope you are having great weather also.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Stitchy Weekend

This weekend I was able to take a class by Tony Minieri Safari Teapot. Here are some pictures of what I got done:

I would say this is my most advanced project to date and I look forward to working on in the future. Tony is a wonderful teacher! I don't think that it will be my last class with him!
Not any update on the deer picture this week. The DS was in an out for the week so kept it put away. Today he ventured back to WV with the grand puppy. But we got the other two grand puppies and the DD back with us so we still have some 4 legged lovebugs running around.
I hope you all have a wonderful week.
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol

Just Stitching Away

I continue to work on my deer project. Here is my progress as of Friday evening:

My DS is in town this weekend and next so not sure how much progress I will be making. I am still trying to keep it a secret. I have finished 1/3 of the picture! A tiny victory!
Yesterday since I need something else to do I worked on my first Locker Hooking Project and finished it up:
The gold crochet hook actually has an eye on the other end and that is what you use. I was pleased with the outcome for my first try. I still need to work on joining the fabrics (a little lumpy yet) but I think I will make some more projects in this manner.
I don't know about you but there is a hint of a cooling trend oh that makes me happy! I have a full week ahead EGA meeting and then a needlework class next weekend. Of course I have to go to work in between oh well!
Until next time
May you be blessed with stitches,
Karol
